Parc Navazza-Oltramare
For this work, a plot of the Parc Navazza-Oltramare grounds was reseeded with a native meadow that heightens the site's own nature — the way one might lift an ink drawing with a wash of watercolor. A subtle gesture, it reworked the landscape through discreet touches in order to shift how it is perceived. The meadow unfolded gradually, week after week. At the very edge of visibility, it traced the contours of a field of representation that the walker came to grasp only by passing through it — feeling its fragility, its artificial nature, its dependence on the attention it is given. The visitor was led to see their surroundings anew.

The work was also participatory. Packets of seeds from the same native meadow were given to visitors and to neighbors of the park, who were invited to sow them, in turn, extending the gesture beyond the boundaries of the site and carrying the life of the piece into gardens, balconies, and across the neighborhood. What began as a single re-seeded plot became a dispersed, collective planting, its eventual form left to the hands of others and to the seasons.
The title names three thresholds of emergence, together they hold the work's central tension; that what appears whole is always mid-transformation, and that growth, like the meadow itself, is both deliberately made and left at the mercy of time.
