Sound Installation in Collaboration with Rudy Deceliere at Gleisdreieck Berlin.

In the collaborative work Prendre Poids, loudspeakers are installed under an historic rail weighbridge in Gleisdreieck Park in Berlin, beneath a disused section of track. The balanced state of suspension, once established between the wagons and the underground structure of the scale, becomes a metaphor for the finely tuned relationship between electronic sound and the surrounding ambient noise. The installation soundtrack combines city sounds and interviews, along with train and water sounds, offering a historical entry point into the place's context.

The historical era in which the weighbridge was in use, the subterranean level into which its load-bearing structure is set, and the workings of the sound installation are all equally inaccessible and invisible. Visitors and listeners are drawn into an expectant state of suspension, held between times, spaces, and sounds.
